Welcome
Northwest Regional Library was Established in 1957 as a way of serving rural communities with a library in Butte and Harding County. Harding County remains to serve the rural areas with a bookmobile on the third Tuesday of each month and has a library in the town of Buffalo SD. Stop into Northwest Regional Library to see what we have to offer. We have some cozy chairs with USB and outlets to plug your electronic devices into, three of our tables also feature USB and outlets. We offer free WIFI, 3 public computers, printer and copy machine access. Within the library, there are the following fiction and non-fiction sections: primary, secondary, and adult. There is a large area rug in our storage room where the children (& adults) can build with LEGOs, Connecting Straws and several other STEM activities, plus there are tables and chairs available to hold meetings. This website is not the official website of Harding County South Dakota, only Northwest Regional Library website.
